    Hi,
can anyone identify this tree/ shrub please? It's Rowan- like but the leaves are thin (and Rowans should have autumn colour at this time of the year). It looked more like a small, slender tree than a shrub.

Seen in woodland in North East last Saturday.

    Thanks very much!

I'd say robinia too - they are considered practically native now - they are throughout the woodland where I volunteer

Could be! It was hard to make anything out of the shape as it was growing amongst shrubbery, but it looked like young, slender tree.

The leaves have quite a lot of leaflets, about 20 in each leaf.

    Thanks :)

Looks like Robinia to me too. I had one in my old garden.
