    Hi all,

Taking a bit of interest in the garden as this year there is no-one else to keep it tidy (they moved out!) ...

Came across a couple of these chaps today

(Ignore the rose flower of a nearby bush thats falling over)

Very soft leaves like grass. General christmas-tree shape to the plant.. Main one is about 2 ft tall at the moment. Seems to be a few more popping up all around at various stages of growth. Some sort of bud developing on top, so maybe some flowers soon?

Quite pleasant looking so will probably leave it be, unless it turns out to be a monster

    Cheers
    Alex

    Hello Alex

It looks like Nigella damascena (Love-in-a-Mist), usually a lovely delicate blue flower but often in white and pink. They are wildflowers here and readily seed themselves.
