    Evening all..

Was just wondering if anyone knew where you could get some nice plants supports like Monty has in his garden on Gardeners' World... I'm thinking of his wigwams for his climbers... I think they're willow perhaps? Unlike Monty I don't have a whole loads of trees I can cut my own ;) I've seen the metal spirals and things, but do like the chunky wooden ones.

Aside from those, does anyone have any other interesting or unusual things you use as plant supports / wigwams for climbers?

Why not pay a visit to your local garden centre and see what they have available?:dbgrtmb:

I have a twisted/curly willow which has become a bit too enthusiastic in it's growth, so I prune it and use the twisted stem as supports for climbers. It's very easy to twine stems round the bends, and looks quite effective.

You can buy the willow canes and make them yourself. It might take some practice but you would get the results you want as in height and size. Here's one website that sells them. There are others out there as well. Possibly one closer to you so you could go collect them yourself and not have to pay postage.
