    Autumn colour sounds pretty good to me but maybe a little early, November might be better.

    What about - 'strange but true' - its a pretty wide subject and could include everything odd or unusual in the garden like weird shaped trees or plants etc but then it may be a little late for all that.

    Another suggestion. How about Pests and Predators. Could cover anything from frogs, toads, hedgehogs, spiders, aphids, ladybirds, beetles, slugs, snails, caterpillars or even a lawnfull of starlings howking out leatherjackets.

    Would be both educational for gardeners and challenging for photographers.

    Autumn Colour Might make an easier subject for those of us that are not so good with a camera to enter.

    Just a thought, but we have had a lot of insects in the photo comps. I know they are difficult to capture and really good when you get it just right but its not easy for those of us that have trouble with close-ups or perhaps live in a flat or city.
