    Hello,
My first post on this forum so I apologise if this is in the wrong section or is a question that gets asked every week.
We have a plant growing in our garden which has just started putting out rather large "stalks" I know very little about the garden/plants but I'm slowly learning, this plant has been in our garden for approx 5 years this is the first time it has done this.
I'm hoping to attach a couple of pictures in the hope that someone can help identify the plant.
    Thank you for any input
    Kind Regards
    Jon

Looks like Phormium or New Zealand Flaz Grass.

    Welcome, BTW :)

I like hydrangas, atleast you can cut them back when they get too big, try doing that on a phormium....... hands and knees job with secauters, spiked all over, looks naff and needs doing regularly!!!

They get huge. A favourite planting in Industrial Parks as they are low maintenance (if they have room to grow) and provide all year round colour.

Maybe move the garden path to give it room to expand!
