Looks like either a microwave antenna or a rural wireless broadband antenna

It may depend on what's on the rest of the pole. Could be a speaker for music for a pole dancer.

I would say wireless rural broadband, we have something the same on the church, but we can't get it as to too many trees in the line of fire

Or it could be for moblies, but broadband is what i'd go for :dbgrtmb:

Could be mobile broadband related, but I am less sure as those repeaters tend to be on the mobile phone networks and those are not directional - that there is a directional antenna, and my guess would be that it is microwave or RF. Is it on a private home?

Thanks all. The general opinion seems to be wireless broadband which I can understand knowing the area it's in.

Yes @Fat Controller, it's on a private village home in a valley.

It could be a DVB antenna then @Sheal - TV reception is notoriously bad in Scotland (I used to work installing aerials and repeaters in a rural area), and often the only way to get a signal is a powered antenna. If you look above the dish in your image, you can see a coax connection, hence me thinking it is TV

There was a satellite dish attached to the house too.

I'd just tracked down the logo when I saw Martin's link. It looks like it's for broadband.

Thanks @Fat Controller and @martin-f.
