Identify plant please

    Found this while just clearing up, must have self seeded last year, no plants like this next door.
    It says it is a rhododendron on the plant identification app but i don't think it is.

    My guess would be Euphorbia, easy way to tell is to cut one leaf off. if it bleeds white sap its Euphorbia, if not it could be a rhodo.

        @Jenny namaste Yes it is a hellebore, Helleborus argutifolia, common name Corsican hellebore.
        Here's mine from a month or so ago.
