    Have carnations, though not from seeds but these are not carnations in my opinion. Carnations don't remain with one stem

      Hi @cylib , to get a bushy plant with a Carnation you have to pinch the top out ( useful to use as a cutting ) after three paurs of leaves have formed.

          Looks to me like Chinese weeds, very odd looking carnations.:biggrin:
          Let alone amaryllis.

          Buyer beware, especially from China.

            Bought amaryllis seeds from spain and definitely not same with the chinese ones which were very small and round. Will post pic tomorrow. It was just a few euros lost but frustration of planting and expect something else and query what I am watering and expect to grow. Will try and grow them and who knows might be a fantastic find:)

              Amaryllis seed that I have found tend to be black and disc shaped.
