When I sowed my spring onions and leeks I omitted to include identify tabs, I know very stupid, but now they are showing I have know idea what is what. Is there a way to identify the plants so that I can re-pot the leeks ?

Hi Newf & welcome to Gardeners Corner,

    Easily done,

The one on the left is a leek, the leaves have a crease in them while the onion leaves are rounded.

Also leek roots are slightly thicker than the onions.

A close look will tell them apart, Ooh and they smell different.:dbgrtmb:

Fortunatly, I was just planting both out:thumbsup:
