if you want to learn Italian

and not only that...
if you want to have about one hour immersion in a very Italian style atmosphere, you have to watch this series on channel n. 9 (it could be bbc 4) which i happened to find by chance, because I watch very little tv.
It must be a police series anyway it was on today about 10 o clock, but it could be that it start well before that. Anyway it was a nice surprise (English subtitles) because I never found movies in Italian before.

 

Montalbano , was on last year and is back this year as well , tonight there was the 2nd episode of the season ...bbc 4 at 9 o clock

 

I only have to visit my hairdresser

 

I only have to live with Mr. F'smum who frequently engages in hour long calls to colleagues in Italy from our landline (at 26 p.p.m.)!

 

That is in fact an excellent way to learn a language, by listening to somebody during a telephone conversation.
