It's like everything else when you have done it once its easy.

 

it`s just that "once" that`s the problem

 

..and even when you get the avatar sorted it can still go slightly pear-shaped

 

yes my pics in my profile now but cant see it..what am i doing wrong..its only 92 /92.size so it should fit

 

is it in an online photo album?
Did you use the "select/use this avatar" button in your profile? it`s something similar to that

yes its photobucket i was told to use this one off here..

 

Should be pretty easy then.
Copy the URL (http etc etc) from photobucket into the avatar url..hit the "SET URL" button.
Then hit the "Select This Avatar" button and end with the "Update Profile" button.

Job should be a good one

Just a wee point with free remote picture hosting sites. Some only store your images for a limited time so you may end up having to reload another image in the future.
