    I am sure I will kick myself when some good member ID's this plant, because I am sure I know it, but just can't think of the name.
    So help please!

      Thanks for the welcome Zigs. Don't think so, the leaves are too big and the flowers are not insignificant like Privet.

      I stand corrected Zigs, you are right I just checked online and it is indeed a ligustrum.

      There are a few of them, the Japanese ones are much more Boofty than our native one.

      I've noticed more flowers on them this year than I can remember ever. And its something i've always looked out for as I love the moths that feed on them.

      Which moths like them Zigs? Day or Night moths.*
      I agree re. loadsa flowers this year; walked past one every night in Bath. Very strong perfume too,

      Swallow Tailed Moths, night flying, used to breed them when I was a kid.

      Thanks Zigs. Googled it, a pretty little thing. Sometimes get one indoors by mistake. Used to see so many moths as a kid, fewer now,
