He isn't a bad little fellow. I went to work some two years ago, and came back with him. The previous owners had had enough of him and wanted him gone. He was a year old at the time, and in truth has cost us alot of money in vets bills. He wasn't well and had a bite on his ear that took well over six months to heal. The opinion was to remove his ear, but the vets were worried that the infection may spread. We came up with our own solution and bathed the ear several times a day with cold camomile tea. Suprisingly it worked, and despite having a scrunged up ear, it is still intact. He also suffer with some kind of un traceable stomach problems. He will be fine for weeks, then not eat and be sick for a day.
He is a really amusing cat to watch and has some superb ninga leap in the air on the spot tactics which spin him over. Watching him trying to hunt is even funnier. He croutches down, goes cross eyed and then spends ten minutes wiggling his bump before bouncing slow enough to let a slug escape.:snork:
He has also done our second and very elderly rescue cat a lot of good. The old boy now has a second lease of life.

I was never really that struck on cats, but the cat below found us several years ago, and it tooks me months to gain his trust and gradually through gentle care we nursed his body that was riddled with nasty sores back to full health. He became pretty much my best mate, but sadly he would get get stressed when ever we went on holiday. Then while away on our last holiday, we came back to find that he had gone blind. He coped very well with it, but sadly one night he did something that he had never done before and went outside to cross the road. I had gone from someone who hated cats, to someone that was devastated by his passing.

I've got an idea that he's safe and sound where he is, Eddy, and will return the TLC he's getting. Mind you, those crossed eyes do remind me of a certain Furry Tail.:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Getting all teary eyed reading that, but I love the fact that having him changed your feelings about cats.

Aaawwww poor Socks. They do have a way of squirming into your heart. My Felix is like your Socks, black and white and my best mate. I love Fudge!! Could easily nick him!! And Puss......... I have a soft spot for black cats. I'd have a house full of cats if I could afford to!! The 20 at the cat hospice help curb my obsession a bit though!
