    Well this is my front garden as it stands today;

    I think I'm fairly lucky in that the previous owners were obviously quite green fingered so it's not like I'm starting with a jungle (just yet anyways!)

    The front garden is north facing, and the back is south facing.

    Here's the back garden;

    My brother and I spent a good few weeks digging out a creeper/ivy that had been used to divide the garden into two at the edge of the patio, sadly it had been left and was extremely overgrown so we decided to take the whole lot out and also replace the side border too with the woordchip, with the aim of my being able to manage some large tubs at regular intervals (idea was to make it as minimal work as possible). I'm also hoping to get rid of the washing line (and thus the green pole in favour of a spinning one.

    In the greenhouse is a grape vine which has not been touched for at least a year so i'm surprised it's got any fruit on it whatsoever but they are there, not sure if they are edible but they're there!

    Oh and I can't forget Cedric, Cedric is a rescue plant, he was going to be thrown into a skip from an office I used to work in so he promptly came home with me and now lives (and takes over) my conservatory. I need to get him a new stake as he seems to be out growing his current one!

    I'm now trotting off to the ID section with another slack handful of photos to find out what things are so I know what to (or not to) do with them!

    Thanks for looking and for your patience!

    Funny about your 'Cedric' years ago I also rescued a plant and called mine 'Eric' sadly he has gone to pastures new, didn't think others called their plants human names! :D

    Good luck with your garden and remember to keep us posted with your progress.
