In the bird bath.

    This afternoon I gave my bird bath a scrub out and filled it from a watering can that had warmed up in the greenhouse.
    No sooner had I walked away and a sparrow came down, put his beak in the water and took a step back, he eyed the water then tested it again with one foot. I could almost read his mind.........blimey not sure about that! :scratch: He then took the plunge and gave himself a good soaking, having decided he liked his bath water warm. :)

      How lovely Sheal. I just love watching the birds use the bird bath but they do seem to like the fishpond too!

      Thanks Jazmine, The starlings visit us early spring and autumn and they have a right old tussle in there communal bathing, fighting for best position. :heehee:
