The last couple of days have been lovely here but I've had a terrible cold and bad chest.
Today I got up feeling so much better.
Great I though I'll sit in the garden and read my book and get some fresh air , clear the lungs out.
Midday, sunny and warm everyone got they're washing out people in the gardens doing stuff , kids playing and some idiot lights a fire.

The stink and smoke was unbelievable.
I had to come straight in because of my chest.
I could see and hear people moaning shutting windows and getting washing in.
Why do people do it :cnfs:
Why are some people so Inconsiderate.

They only think of themselves. I always have mine in the late evening if I have to have one and I always let the neighbours know and make sure there's no washing out.

Lyn, all you need do is phone the police. Anyone can have a bonfire, at anytime but it must not cause a nuisance.

Most people aren`t actually aware they are causing distress to neighbours, so a nice quiet word is the best first approach. Trouble is these days you never know if you are gonna get told where to get off, and you kind of have to be rough -or at least have it in you somewhere, to be able to deal with rough.

You should have your fires after 6 0r 7pm and before 11pm, thats is, according to the local councils website, or you can have the fire brigade out I think.

If it happens again today Lyn, check out your local councils website and then go round armed with some facts.

I don`t mind burning, but this life is for everyone and would abide by the rules

Typical...!:scratch:why do folk do that? A little sunshine and out come the matches and everyone has to suffer the filth! If the offenders had any sense of consideration it simply wouldn't happen .

I think someone must have said something because it was only alight a short time .
It seemed to go out far to quickly to have burned out by its self.
