    Those plug plant nets! :nonofinger:
In my opinion they simply restrict growth and are there because the producers find them more convenient.
    I always remove them.
As an experiment a few years ago I compared the growth of those with nets on with those removed and the difference was amazing
The real problem is with the bigger stuff....the perennials, shrubs etc. Often on examining these plants later, maybe when digging out or potting on, those nets can still be seen restricting the roots.
Funnily enough, this week I received plugs from 2 different suppliers....
One had the nets on and one didnt. The plugs without nets, ok different plants so not like for like, were much larger.
So, nets on or off folks? :dunno:

I haven't seen any plug plant nets for a long time. The ones I have ordered always arrive in the clear plastic shaped, for the plugs, containers. I agree with you though, Verdun, the nets are not a good idea.:dunno::snorky:
