    During the winter I found a similar collection all hibernating in an old crisp packet under my hedge.

    How could you crush these dear little creatures,
    Just look at those beautiful markings on the shells and how different they are,do you think its a fashion thing?These two were in my wallflowers and are now on their way to the landfil site. [​IMG]

    lovely photos but really vile little creatures..i dont even like touching them ..i nearly broke my neck on one the other day i wasnt looking where i was walking and all of a sudden i skidded along on the back of one..needless to say the vile thing came off worse...

    Wow - I must be the only person who doesn't mind snails. Of course I don't want them to eat all my plants, but they serve a purpose so I generally just let them be. That said, I can't wait to get my pond so that the frogs arrive to feast! ;)

    No, You're not the only one Dave, I don't mind 'em either, it helps if you can give them a name......... Brian is a good one, there was that cute one in the Magic Roundabout.... remember ;)
