Very interesting and a clever approach to marketing which should get results, Alex. There's certain a heck of a range of seeds from veg to flowers. Old fashioned it might look but it's still got the modern trend of a minimum order of £10!!:heehee::D

That's the only site I could find a while ago selling mangold wurzel seeds:

That sort of limit puts me off ordering, especially from the likes of RealSeeds because I save my own seeds and just don't need to spend anything like £10 in subsequent years.

      Interesting site :dbgrtmb:

Totally off topic  but does anyone remember the ads by the estate agent Roy Brooks that were in the Observer and Sunday Times in the 50's and 60's. They increased the circulation of those papers because he told the truth about the properties and their owners - and exaggerated their bad points. They were so good, and very funny, that they were put into a book called 'Brothel in Pimlico'.

I think an Estate Agent started the trend again in the 90's, possibly down in your area, Ziggy:scratch::D
