Interesting plant.

    I thought I would share the tree/ shrub I found on my walk yesterday, I didn't have my camera so went back today.
    Identified as a Strawberry tree, growing from the top of the wall

    Ohhh You could be right Liz, now why did I think it was a strawberry tree. :rolleyes:

    I second what Liz says it is also. someone has one down my road too have been tempted on that one myself but sadly not enough room as they grow quite large and dont think they like too harsh a cut back

    hi, i've got this growing in my garden, it does get pretty large each year, but its never got upset with a really severe pruning every year! it gets lopped off virtually at ground level in the autumn/winter and comes back fine every spring. the flowers are lovely scented and the butterflies love it,especially it seems the peacocks.

    Just like normal buddleia then shall have to run down road and beg a cutting fancy doing it as a standard myself wonder if it would suffer a large pot thanks glenw.
    Fred1935 looks like we could all have a go at this one sorry I put you off with wrong info spongey
