Interior Decorating...HELP

    Mrs. Roders took me to the shops to-day......
    Carpet and curtains.....What a nightmare
    We think we have made a dareing choice.....but its not yet written in stone....Not at all our usual bag....any comments please for or against.
    It's for dining/sitting room..

    very nice with the plain carpet, do hope you have plain walls as if you have flowered wall paper could clash a bit and look scarey [​IMG]

    forgot to mention roders i do all my own decorating, I do like flowered walls with plain curtains, you can get away with a plain look with designs of flowers on a wallpaper which i have got on my walls in a cream and beige. I to have got a long pile two tone beige carpet.

    Oh...........A woman who decorates..Heaven.
    Walls will be very plain..
    Just hacked all the old crapy skirting board off and fitted some new taurus mdf 25mts...thats a lot of mitres......

    if that is going to be the colour that you have on the wall it will look very nice, with the carpet and curtains you have picked, thumbs up from me [​IMG]

    That's a go from Mrs Pal too..says it will cheer you up during the winter and make a nice frame looking out of your patio doors as things pick up again in the Spring.
    As for me!..well, I'm just looking to see if you have caulked along the skirting boards nicely...and it seems fine! [​IMG]

    :rolleyes: Carpet Right.......CARPET WRONG.

    Carpet delivered on time,the correct carpet....3"short.
    You wouldnt think it possible...8mts.x4mts...3"SHORT(80mm)
    Mrs.Roders was not a happy bunny,still they layed it temporarily and have promised a new piece next week.....I think Darren who measured it will lose his commission.Dont you? :D

    oh my, how dissapointing, lovely carpet about the same colour as mine, my hubby measured ours they came to lay it and he had only shortened us of the hall in his measurements so we had to order some more. :D
