Internet Explorer has stopped working on my other (newish) laptop. It's OK on this ancient one. Any ideas what may have happened and what to do about it? It was fine a few hours ago.
Will I have to uninstall and reinstall it?

It's usually how I get out of trouble, Madahhalia, when my volume control icon disappears!!:heehee:

IE has improved of late, but I stopped using it as my primary browser a year or two back. I used Firefox for a bit because of the availably add-on software development tools, but then moved to Google Chrome as it was much quicker, crashed much less often than Firefox, and I like the tight integration with Google.

Each to their own of course, but worth trying Chrome and/or Firefox as both will happily sit alongside IE - just don't see the newcomer to be your Default Browser until you are happy with it.
