    Hello again - I've got another stranger that's appeared in my garden. It's rather fine actually, but nothing to do with me, honest. I'd appreciate an ID :scratch:[​IMG][​IMG]

    It's a variety of Tobacco plant - Nicotiana not a common self-seeder.

    Its an annual - so take some seed if you like it.

    The tobacco plant is Nicotiana tabacum in which all parts contain nicotine. Yours is probably one of the bedding hybrids - but I suspect that it also contains some nicotine.

    I sat in the garden yesterday and watched a bee going in and out of these 'trumpets' for about an hour - heavy smoker do you reckon?? :hehe:
