Invasive bamboo

    Does anyone know if this verity of bamboo is invasive?

      As has been said above, this is a clumping bamboo, so shouldn't cause problems

      The seed needs to be fresh to germinate.

      Muriel bamboo flowered many years ago, so the seed will not be 'fresh' :)
      I was lucky enough to have had the sense to collect the seed at the time, and I have a passageway through the bamboo to the Tea Garden. It won't flower again for about 80 to 100 years :)
      This is the bamboo at the time of planting. It is now about 10 feet tall
