Hi, I have been wondering, just how bad tap water is for irregation, read a bit about salt build up and chlorine killing good bacteria in the soil.
The question is, how much is bad for the soil?

    Hi

It's an interesting question, something I'd not thought of before. What I can tell you is, if the ground is dry (with reference to growing crops)then I water it using water from the tap. AFAIC, it's better than no water at all. As to whether or not the bacteria is being killed, and whether this is necessarily an important issue, I'll let others (more knowledgeable) add more...

    Cheers...Freddy
