Is it really going to be this big?

Is my little Echium Pininana (Tower of Jewels) seedling really going to grow this big

 

It can get that big, just have to get it though winter and to flowering size!

 

It'll need a bigger pot then.:confused:

 

I think you could be right there. Thing is do I leave it in a pot in the greenhouse over the winter, or do I plant it out later this month and get it established and try to protect it with fleece? Mind you I do have three other seedlings so I could do half and half.

 

i Would overwiter it in the greenhouse/window sill and plant out in the spring.

 

Two of this years seedlings in the p/tunnel will overwinter them in there.



Two outside planted close to shrubs so the soil stays dry overwinter see if they survive.
