tip. its always a good idea to lightly roll the lawn before mowing after the winter months. Frost heave can make the lawn quite bumpy with the risk of your mower scalping the high spots.

Last wed, i got the mower out and got myself all prepared, trimmed, strimmed all the border edges then went to put petrol in mower, only to discover someone had emptied the can. Either bonfire starter, or son pinched for his project, (doing up old landy). so couldn't get lawn mowed. Got petrol that evening, then guess what, up next morning, also to snow........3". Will mow next week, need to get more petrol tho' someone emptied can again........ [IMG]
