Lawn seems a little slow getting going and I read that feeding to early can do harm. So my question please is is it time for the first feed ?

    Thanks !

    Charlie.

I like to give the lawn three cuts before I feed Charlie, then I'm sure it's under way. If you're having drought conditions then don't feed, it'll put to much strain on the grass and may even burn it. I haven't had rain here for weeks and my grass is starting to turn brown so there is no way I'll be feeding or weed killing for some while.

              My plan for tomorrow is...
Well Its started this evening really..
The lawn is getting a good soaking via the sprinkler
I plan on aerating tomorrow as the lawn should be relatively soft.
Then feed via a drop spreader and water it well in.

Feel free to correct anything I'm planning ? Is it to early to aerate ? Google says is fine but Im no expert !

              Thanks !

I don't have a problem with it Harry and besides it would take me forever with a liquid feed and walking backwards and forwards with a watering can. :)

Charlie......sounds like a good plan to me! :) You can aerate any time you like as long as it's not during frost.

Does the granular stuff distribute itself , while you have a cup off tea ?
@Charlie996 the scarifying thread you started has all the answers. :blue thumb:
