Quite agree, presumably there is no form of heat in it, so with or without the fleece, I think it would severely check them, too risky! Oh, and in this weather too!!!

Best get a greenhouse next year! [IMG] [IMG]

The weather here is far to cold to consider planting. Soft plants from a garden centre will need heat if they are to survive even in the greenhouse. I shall not be doing too much just yet although my toms are up they are in the conservatory/house at night. I plant out Mid May when the frost threat has gone. This Winter has been the coldest her for many years and I'm still hibernating.

Kitchen garden centre gets my vote too. At the moment the temperature are just too low unless you've got a heated greenhouse. Hopefully it should only be for a week or so - but so far there is no sign of spring weather.

Unless you keep keep them heated your kitchen will look like a compost heap instead of a garden centre. These plants were grown grown at around 23c and will not survive night temperatures around 2/-3c which we are getting at the moment.Keep them as warm as you can. [IMG]
