Is it too late to plant mesembryanthemum seeds

Just found a packet of seeds I meant to plant earlier.

Is it too late to plant mesembryanthemum seeds - might I be lucky
enough to get a few late flowers this year?

I'd say a bit late really.
As they only open when the sun shines you would need to pick your spot very carefully.

So I might get a few if the weather stays sunny?

Worth a try perhaps if I sow a few seeds. They are very small
(packet says 3000 seeds) so maybe a I'll sprinkle a couple of hundred
in a sheltered spot and see what comes up.
