Is Japanese Parsley or Mitsuba a perennial? I've seen on a fair few websites now that this plant should be perennial but mine always seems to go to seed and then completely die off in late autumn with nothing reappearing in the spring. Any ideas?

Hi @MaLiorzh well it is classed as a perennial, but only in frost free areas.. It needs winter protection here as our winters are cold and wet.... It is a woodland type plant and so doesn't like full sun.. Dappled light and lots of protection given by other plants around always helps.. You could try digging the root up and putting it in a pot for the winter and put it somewhere frost free.. A garage or the like, then you can replant in spring..
This is what they say for growing...
