[IMG] Or is it just the way she's sitting?
We are presently calling her Christmas Pudding.
Soon will have to make a bigger cat flap.
And she eats next to nothing........well not at our house anyway :D

She's lovely roders, but she could do to lose some weight. Wait till after Christmas though, let her have her turkey first. [IMG]

No, roders, dearest, all cats look like dumplings when they sit in these silly positions, as I'm sure people would.

Lucy is normal (except for her strange extra-terrestrial eyes) [IMG] ... you should see Boo when he sits like that?

Demented is what I call them ... except for Cal who is one sandwich sort of a picnic, but it's not his fault, bless him. [IMG]

Both boys (of the furry kind) are in beans bags in front on the fire ... bless their little hearts, souls and gizzards ... [IMG]

    David, my dear countryman ...

I am in Portugal now so it's obviously Cat-aplana.

Seriously, we're having duck basted in brown sugar, Soy sauce and Worcester sauce as we always do for Christmas ... the furry boys love it as well.

Rydian will probably win the X-Factor and what a performance with Katherine (my second name) Jenkins but I WANT Leon to win because I was in love with Matt Monroe in my youth. [IMG]

Roder's that looks very like my mum-in-law's old cat both in colouring and size I always thought it was a giggle as they called her 'Tiny' and she was far from tiny I can tell you.

She lived for 22 years and towards the end the poor dear lost most of her fat and got a tumour she had to be put to sleep and she now rests in her favourite spot in mum's garden under her beloved cushion of snow-in-summer.

The vet said our cat is portly, although she was like this when we got her 4 years ago. We are reducing her intake a little to see if it does anything. They can look a different shape depending how they are sitting, Millie doesn't look fat but portly, maybe!

They are both lovely cats. My daughter had a little cat called Ethel, who was always on the plump side. Bella spent lots of money on special diet foodfor her with no result. Ethel has now moved house and lives part-time [by choice] in several houses, so probably access to more food- but she's lost lots of weight! As she is in good health I think she must be living a more active lifestyle.

i wouldnt say they were too fat, you do have to be careful though because they can get blockages in their urethras from being too overweight. A bit plump is about as fat as a cat should be, but some seem to be naturally huge and others naturally skinny and you can't do much about it.

Yes a bit on the porky side.
Our Dog was the same and the vet advised us to slim her down.
It can cause all sorts and shorten their lives by a good few years.
She is now a healthy size for her breed.
She still moans for food but I just ignore her.
It was easier just the 2 of us here , It was when the kids were at home she gained the extra pounds.
    I suppose it's hard with a cat .
If they go off all over the plce you wouldn't no what they were eating or who was feeding them.

My tuffty is remeniscent of me ie muscle no fat, the previuse cat muffin was a gluton and had a saggy tummy.

I rekon cats are like humans, some very active and others not so.
