Is my soil ready to turf?

    Hi im turfing a patch in my garden. I have turned over the soil over and added topsoil and compressed with my feet all over it now looks like the picture is this ready for turfing or is there anything iv done wrong or could do it improve it or make it better?

      Hi Welcome to the forum

      looks great , just make sure you keep well watered and keep off it till it gets going , 1st couple of cuts blade on high dont give it a no 1 all over

      dont need to feed

        Welcome to Gardeners Corner wade. :)

        Just to add to what Spruce has said. Give the soil a gentle rake over to loosen the surface, this will allow the roots of the turf something to grip onto.
