    Hi everyone:)

I have a question. Is it normal for the stems of the spinach plants to be pink in colour?

As you can see from the pic there are 2 plants next to each other but one plant has pink stems, why is this????

And also is it ok to eat the stems of spinach?

    Hi Sky
Yes its normal for spinach to have pink stems and yes its ok to eat them, i find the baby leaf spinach you buy in shops ok for salads but if i want spinach with a hot meal the "tougher" spinach is far superior
