A big hello everyone, I have bought myself a Stella Cherry Tree about 2 months ago, it's in the ground and looking well. But now I have spotted the flowers dyeing and on one of the branches their is like sap coming out of the branch. Is this normal??? I would like to know if this a problem and if so what can I do to solve it.
    many thanks

Trying to load photos from my phone to this thread but don't know how

It does look a bit ominous, BND. Cherries are susceptible to bacterial canker and one of the symptoms is resin oozing from the stems. As it's on the main trunk, there's not a lot you can do to remove the infection. Here's a link which might help

If it comes to the worst, you'll probably be better getting rid completely and re-planting a clean replacement, preferably in a different spot!
