Last year, I bought a 'hardy' grape vine. I got three bunches of grapes from it and it grew on three horizontal canes. I haven't pruned it at all but its showing no signs of life - everything else in the garden is coming out. SHould it have done something by now?

Vine's are late to bud. One thing you can do is get a knife and peel some of the top bark back and see if its green underneath If its green your ok.

Its going great guns now - it seemed to come from nowhere. Even got little flower bunches forming. Now to consider that home winemaking kit.........
