Is there a 'blue' climbing rose available please?

    Is there a 'blue' climber or rambling rose available please does anyone know?

    I don't think roses carry the gene that creates the blue pigment. Certain eBay sellers would argue otherwise, so be careful what you buy, and good luck in your quest.

    I had Rhapsody in Blue and although it was not a 'climber' as such it could ... !

    Strangely, I saw some in the garden center here last week and there was one that was a pale blue ... but for the life of me I can't think what it was called ... in one of this packages from Holland.

    Our dear Woo will come along and sort you out on this one crg as he is our rose expert!

      There is one called 'Angel Face' that is late flowering. How true the blue is I don't know. There is also a climbing version of 'Blue Moon'. :)
