Hi all, I have a patch of the privet with dying leaves. I see white fungus on the dead branches (see pic) though can't find and rhizomes in the soil. Is this Honey Fungus? Any help appreciated.

    I hope not

Have you looked for white mycelium which will appear under the bark, smelling like mushrooms.

I think we had a treatment being with A , but cant remember the name but has been taken off the market for garden use.

Had a look and the twigs with dying leaves look normal.
