          The leaves on yours look like they are separated sections along the leaf stem. Ours, apart from one leaf, appears to be joined up all along the leaf stem.

          I think we need @Silver surfer to come to the rescue. :)

                  Looks remarkably like Ragwort to me @shiney. The bain of my life as highly toxic to horses. We pull it relentlessly but it still appears in the fields. It often has purple coloured stems but not always just to be difficult! It also is extremely sneaky. You go to pull out the main plant only to discover about 3 or 4 seedlings just waiting to take the place of the parent plant. It's actually easier to pull when flowering, when young it's easy to break the leaves and leave the flaming roots behind only for the plant to regrow with increased vigor!

                        Looks like the common form of ragwort.

                        There is also Oxford ragwort but the foliage is usually much finer than the type in the pic.
