    just been down to the compost bins and looked in the greenhouse, Too early surely, it wasn't there yesterday...

    Hi YD Yes Looks like the Bees Knees to me and its got the right stripy jumper on :D Yes I saw one yesterday They are unusually early. [​IMG]

    Hi Dee,I had a big one in my garden the other week tring to get pollen from out of my winter flowering clematis and also saw one when I was out walking round the village.I expect because we have a few sunny days then that probably wakes them up.Lovely captured photo :cool:

    Ahh thanks Woo and kandy, I thought it was looking for somewhere to nest :eek:

    A winter flowering clematis Kandy, I didn't know there was such a plant :cool: what are the flowers like?...Dee...

    Dee,it is called Clematis Cirrhosa'Freckles'and the early bees love them :cool:

    I am not surprise at the Bee Dee, there have been a few Peacock Butterflies reported and it is a very mild start to the year, a lot of animals are waking up early, lets hope they don't get caught in another cold snap.
