Melania Trump will keep White House vegetable garden planted by Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama's garden stays. First lady Melania Trump said through a spokeswoman that she is committed to preserving gardens at the White House, including the bountiful one planted by her immediate predecessor.

"As a mother and as the first lady of this country, Mrs. Trump is committed to the preservation and continuation of the White House gardens, specifically First Lady's Kitchen Garden and the Rose Garden," Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a senior adviser to Melania Trump, said in a statement. Melania Trump and President Donald Trump have a 10-year-old son, Barron.

Michelle Obama planted the garden on the South Lawn in 2009 as one of her first big projects and as the foundation for her signature initiative, "Let's Move." She sought through the program to reduce childhood obesity by emphasizing good eating habits and exercise. Several times a year during her tenure as first lady, Michelle Obama ventured down to the garden to help with plantings and harvests.

I think it's pretty obvious she won't be getting her hand mucky but if she wants to defend and protect the garden that's fine by me.:snorky:

He'll probably build a huge wall around it to stop South American/ 'alien' foliage finding a way in.

Then send the bill to the Mexican president :)
