    Whilst hunting through my photos earlier, I came across a shot of this mini beast that I had forgotton about.

    Nature is a pretty amazing thing.:)

    Any thoughts about what it is?

    Hi Eddie,lovely photo of that little beastie:gnthb:I think it is the lava of a Vapourer moth,but not 100% sure of the name or the spelling,but have had them in my house in recent years:D

    Nature sure is wonderful:)

    That is an amazing creature, never heard of it - brilliant photo Eddie & full marks to Kandy for knowing what it is.

    :scratch: Looks like one of the many shield bugs Eddie, Superb little critters, there are so many I haven't found which but have a google & see what you think. Where was this one & what plant is it on.. :scratch:

    Actually Eddie it looks like one of the Scutelleridae family... Could be a jewel beetle-Chrysochroa fulgidissima...
    Where did you take the photo mate.?:scratch:

    :scratch: Well one thinks of a moth as it is drab colours, but not necessarily so I know, an amazing shot anyway.. Nice one Eddie..!:thumb:

    Lovely Hummingbird Hawk Moth you have there Eddie,plus I think you have a Rose Chafer beetle..{Cetonia Aurata}:thmb:
