    When I was a kid (You mean, you're not still a kid? Ed. ) I used to keep snails, all with differently coloured shells in shoeboxes. I used to feed them with lettuce.

        Such a beautiful looking creature. I know they are not a gardener's friend, but it's sad to think that people destroy them without a second thought. Take precautions perhaps, live and let live and just suffer a bit of plant damage maybe?
