      I agree. Since moving house, I no longer grow veg, just a few tomatoes. I remember getting quite excited (sad ain’t I :biggrin:) going through the catalogues, trying to decide what to try the following year. Then, when the seeds arrived, reading the backs of the packets for more info.
      Damn, I miss that :sad:

        I tend to sow early but mid Feb usually works well for me :)

              I've got a dozen asparagus seedlings germinated from last years pods. I know one is supposed to pull plants with berries but I wanted to collect first for a new bed.

              I collect everything I can. It's usually best to do it in early fall . Label plastic bags first, take them outside and casually collect. A sip of wine now and again in between collecting and smiling is always fun.

              The hardest ones to catch the timing right is, for me, pansies. Always there too late. So I've got some dandy seeds coming,from a good supplier. How much better does it get :)
