its all gone pear shaped

Decided to try a couple of new varieties this year, well new to me anyway.
The onions Kappa from T&M as quite good, strange shape but have done reasonably well and the one I've tried was fairly strong.

On the other hand I thought I'd give yellow beetroot another go, Suttons yellow cylindrical.
A bit of a disaster, they have lots of fibres running up through the roots.
The taste is very bland so I'll not try them again.
