Oh, I seeeee, strongy. That's a glove you get when you buy the cast-iron fireplace so you can open the door without frying your hand! (Will put a pic up in the not too distant future).

However, this one-sandwich-short-of-a-picnic little chappie jumped onto this cast-iron fireplace two nights ago (it having been lit for many hours) ... but fortunately t'other half saw the incident and quickly put all his paws (Cal's not t'other half's) in cold water and he seems okay ... in that respect anyway ... God only knows what he'll do next. :rolleyes:

We ran over a meter-plus snake the other week ... sad ... they shouldn't wiggle across the road. We avoided a tortoise yesterday on our way back from lunch ... I would have stopped to get it but our friend was driving ... :(
