Obviously, Tony has young currants which are going through their first winter. Therefore Tony is asking should he give them protection against the cold weather or not.:help::help::help::heehee::dbgrtmb: Tony, get some frost fleece, if really cold weather is forecast for overnight, then cover the plants, but take the fleece off the next morning and dry it.:dbgrtmb:

Ahh, glad that was clear to you Dai.

We were looking at the Cryptic clues instead of the quickfire section.

Never bothered with protection for currants Tony, and never lost any to frost either.

But like Dai says, wont hurt to give them a cush in their first winter:thumbsup:

Or perhaps how to prune them, take cuttings whatever?

            It's still a guessing game.

OBVIOUS then that DAI is a gardener and the rest are bloody CHANCERS :dancy:

I admit I thought Currants was his pet CAT and wanted to do something special for him (Like castration perhaps) :)
