It has been raining non stop here since at least 06.00 this morning ..every so often it comes down really heavy..and its dark and dismal and the road looks flooded..every so often a rumble of thunder is heard..At least my lawn is now green again..I think all those that are still doing the rain dance had better stop ..before we need to build a boat !!Has anyone else got this heavy downpour ?? Its forcast heavy for the rest of the day..

Flash floods here this morning - the poor kiddies got soaked going to school - I even ran them round in the car!!!! Needless to say I didn't cycle in today....... I had to move the car for them before they could get in as it was in the middle of a 6" deep lake - up over the curb and 1/2 way across the pavement!!!

Wish it was raining her, it's that hot muggy sort of weather - think we may be getting a thunder storm later!

We've had a good 12 hours of steady rain interspersed with heavier episodes. Nice to see it.

We had a good ole down pour through the night - lovely lightning display and a few rumbles of the heavens clapping - but it's been a bit of a wishy washey humid bleah day - I do love a good storm. We definately need the water here.

We had light, persistant rain for several hours, but it eased by daybreak. Nothing less than 17C. overnight and not a hint of a breeze meant that this morning was incredibly still and remarkably fragrant. Gingers, Jasmines, Araujia and Citrus were intermingled in the air - so much so that the temptation to stay and not go to work was almost overwhelming!
