IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN !.

The cry from the wife,"Oh this bathroom/shower area is looking a bit Grotty".
"The white paints going yellow,the grouting is dirty looking,and I would like new
flooring etc, etc.
So I set out and decorated the Bathroom area,including new flooring as she requested,(job done)..

The Cry from the wife,"The Bathroom is lovely,its nice and clean and bright,only
problem,it makes the hall look Grotty".. .

So I painted all the hall,walls ,Ceiling ,skirting,door facings etc etc.

Cry from the wife,"Oh that's lovely,but it makes the kitchen look Grotty,and I would like a New modern wooden slat Venetian blind,as the old roller blind is a bit old fashioned"...

So I decorated the kitchen and fitted a wooden slat Venetian blind ...

The Cry from the wife,"Oh That's Lovely,You've done a good Job ,I am really pleased ".
That was after I told her," Any More Requests and I will Stick This Paint Brush Up Where The Sun Don't Shine !!!!!!! .

Speaking as someone who does half of our renovation work, have you suggested she do some of it? All that you've mentioned could have been done by her.

We, here are doing some renovations, nothing to do with Christmas, just because. Tore out all the carpet, put wood floors in, a new bay window in the living room. New paint on hall walls and dinning room walls. Kichen was done 3 years ago. Living room will get painted soon. The two bathrooms will be renovated in the spring.
