Now that christmas is out of the way my thoughts have turned to what I'm going to grow from seed in 2019. So while Old Misery was nursing her hangover I got googling.
I need some suitably stupid plants to try to grow here in the UK and so inspired by my Justicia rizzinii which is almost in bloom in a sheltered spot I started looking at the wider Justicia genus and found a few contenders. Justicia is in the Acanthaceae family so I broadened my search to that, specifically from South Africa.

    Then it started getting silly!

All the above photos were "borrowed" from this site.............

If you're bored it's well worth a look.

This is just a small selection of what I looked at but I have found seeds for all the above. Just need to make a selection now.

I have looked at Plantz Africa for years as their plants suit my climate. They do have to die for plants.
